What is dayink?

A diary that draws itself. You write one sentence about your day; dayink uses AI to compose a small illustrated page that you can keep, look back on, or share.

How much does it cost?

Free for 7 days when you start — no card needed. To keep going after that, subscribe: the paid plan opens with a 14-day trial (card required), then $4.99/month. Cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription.

Can I edit a page after it's drawn?

Not in version 1. Each day's entry is a snapshot. Premium tier can re-roll today's illustration (which costs an extra render).

Is my diary private?

Yes. Diary entries default to private. The only way to make a page public is to tap "Copy link" on the share sheet — that explicitly opts that one page in. You can revoke a shared link anytime.

Can I export my entries?

From Settings → Account you can request a JSON export of all your entries + the rendered illustration URLs. Delivery is via email (Resend) within an hour of the request.

How do I change my 4-panel character?

Open Settings → Profile and edit the "Your style" section — gender, age, hair, glasses, outfit. Changes apply only to new entries; pages you already drew keep their original character. You can also flip the default mode (1-panel vs 4-panel) in Settings → Preferences.

What if the illustration is wrong / not the day I wrote?

AI illustration is not exact. We aim for a mood-matching scene, not a literal reproduction. If a render feels off, paid tier can re-roll. Free tier keeps the first draw to manage costs.
